Our Story
A Leonardtown tradition built on family, fresh seafood, and waterfront sunsets since 1993.
Where Families Gather
In 1993, the FitzGerald family opened the doors to Fitzie's Marina Restaurant & Pub with a very simple vision: to serve incredible food in a place where everyone feels completely at home. Nestled right on the edge of Breton Bay, we didn't just want to build a restaurant; we wanted to create a community hub. For over three decades, we have been so incredibly proud to be Leonardtown's go-to spot for beautiful boat days, casual lunches, and unforgettable waterfront dinners.

More Than Just a Meal
When you visit Fitzie's, you are getting the true waterfront experience. We love watching generations of families return year after year. We've watched kids spend hours digging in our famous sand pile while their parents relax, and we've welcomed countless boaters docking up after a long day on the water. Located just a stone's throw from the Leonardtown Wharf and Newtowne Neck State Park, our dining room and beach offer the perfect escape from the everyday.
Local Flavor, Zero Fillers
You can't have a restaurant on the water in Maryland without taking your seafood seriously! We pour our hearts into our food, and you can taste the care and love in every single bite. We are incredibly proud of our famous crab cakes—made exclusively with fresh, local crab meat and absolutely no fillers. And if you ask our regulars, starting your meal with our creamy, homemade crab dip isn't just recommended, it's a requirement!

Let's Get in Touch
